FCCLA, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, is a non profit student organization aimed to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences Education. The members of FCCLA are involved in various service projects including food drives at United Methodist church, turkey feather race, and most recently, the Christmas toy drive for foster kids in the surrounding areas.

FCCLA hosted their annual Christmas toy drive, choosing two kids in foster care, usually a boy and girl, to buy presents for. The money used to purchase these toys comes from the Thanksgiving turkey feather race, utilizing friendly competition as a means to raise money for children in need. After purchasing the presents, a wrapping party is held in which club members can come and help wrap the gifts before they are sent off for the children to enjoy. Due to the outstanding amount of money raised each year, they are able to continue this tradition for years to come.
