Tiger Power--Large and Small
On May 19, 2017, Ringgold Elementary hosted its annual Field Day. Children enjoy rotations through numerous field events, water fun, inflatables, and gym games. Students look forward to this day all year long! However, the day would not run as smoothly without the support from generous volunteers from Ringgold High School. Honor students from our big sister school donate their time to man ALL events, assuring everyone understands event rules and stays safe during the fun day. Students seem to enjoy having the older students at the school because they play with them, race them, dance with them, and just make the events more exciting! As a small token of appreciation, Mrs. Blair Giannamore, PE Teacher and Field Day organizer, provides lunch for these volunteers (pictured ). RES extends their appreciation to Ms Melanie Keith, RHS Teacher, for coordinating the high school students and to the many volunteers for their willingness to give of their time in this way! Participants included Jessica Patrascu, Regene White, Bailey Putnam, Kaine Wilson, Addy Allen, Danna Dalton, Brayden Broome, Alex Gomez, Sadie Lane, Jake Dykes, Sierra Meador, Jacob Crew, Cooper Shull, Shannon Owens, Elizabeth Durst, Jade Chadwick, Danielle Daniels, Jackson House, Malachi Parker, Pete Brower, Carter Farrow, Blake Cavin, Caleb Smith, Indee Sebring, Madeline Bates, Paige Chastain, Brice Watson, Skylar Lohman, Chloe Wilson, Kaylee Womack, and Savannah Hattersty.
